How is he a totally unrealistic signing?
Because he is actually a good keeper? Lets face it Cillissen has only beaten out Babos because he got injured, and starting for NEC isnt exactly saying much. Plus Koval is a way more realistic signing than Mignolet, who is in the premier league, IMO if he already rejected PSV then why would he move to Ajax?
Koval is realistic due to the fact that A) The ukranian league is worse than the eredivisie (even though they have more coefficiants) B) Ajax would play Koval much more than Kiev who for some reason prefer two other goalkeepers, and finally if he came to holland he could gain an EU work permit which would actually allow him to play in a huge league like the english premier league.
The only stumbling block is the price, but with Maarten leaving in the summer the revenue from selling him should easily cover signing Koval, unless Ajax insist on not spending it on transfers...

It's onrealistic for many reasons, first of all... his wage at Kiev will be just as high or higher than with Ajax. Secondly the fee will be very high, Ajax won't pay the same fee as let's say Tottenham Hotspur who are also after Koval because of the weak performance's of Gomes. Thirdly, bigger clubs than Ajax have him on their summer signingslist and last... his chances of playing in the Champions League are higher at Kiev than with Ajax if you look back in the last 10 years

But where have you seen that Spurs are interested in Koval? Do you have a link to the website, only that im interested to see where he goes as i think he is one of the top young keepers in europe.

Sorry mate, i only saw this post today, a bit late....
I actually must admit that its not just Ajax that i support, ive followed dutch football since i was in primary school, i even had a holland shirt with bergkamp on the back when i was little! In terms of teams in holland i like them all, Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord, Twente, AZ etc.
As for your question, i do not support a team in the premier league, my football team is Millwall FC, were in the championship trying to get promoted to the prem! I must also say that as millwall fans were are enemies to Willem II Tilburg who dont like us because they support our rivals back here in england!

Millwall You're serious.. Haha funny, liked the movies about west ham vs Millwall (green street  )..
I still have the dream to visit a match of Millwall anytime. Or Millwall should promote or West Ham should go a league lower so you'll have that derby agian..

Well, West Ham is in serious trouble at the moment, so a good chance Millwall will meet them in the Championship next year!

Nice, yes i am a lifelong supporter or 'fan' of millwall! So are you a 'fan' of millwall?
Also if you like millwall then 'green street' is a terrible film, it just promotes wet spam and how "great" their firm was... If you want to see a good english film watch "Arrivederci Millwall"

We already have a dutch supporter on our boards, he supports NAC Breda and ive talked to him about Matthew Amoah before! Plus we would love for more foriegn fans to come visit the New Den! We have a supporters group called the 'Belgian Lions' and quite a few fans out in bulgaria!
EDIT: Rinus, dont forget millwall are just outside the playoffs with two games to go, we could be a premiership side next season!

I'm not really a fan from Millwall but I don't hate them either. Just like there history, I watched that movie in a neutral opinion. Millwall doesnt have a positive image in that movie, but I'll watch your movie then..
I dont have the time to be on more fora because I'm currently graduating (working for a company in the coming six months almost 45 hours a week) for my bachelor-education.

Haha, if you want to see millwall put in a good light you may have to change your views. I think any film which has millwall in it will be like the one you watched.
No worries, im at uni now so i understand. But you dont have to be a fan to come watch the club, hey if you graduate then treat yourself by coming down the Den next season!
