Ajax Cape Town is returning to Cape Town Stadium for their last game of season against Maritzburg United on May 21, 2011.

Cape Town is about to experience the football “Gees” again when Ajax Cape Town play their Championship title decider at the World Cup Stadium. The title race is the closest it’s ever been in years with just four points separating the top three teams with only two games remaining.

The last game of the season for Ajax Cape Town is certainly going to be the most important game played in Cape Town since the semi-final of the 2010 World Cup.

Local support for Ajax Cape Town is vital to provide the final surge across the finish line. We urge the City and the people of Cape Town to get behind the Urban Warriors as they strive to bring the PSL Championship trophy home.

There is huge National interest expected around this match and the other matches on the day especially with the two other possible league winners in the running. TV viewership and stadium attendances will possibly break all other previous records and with this in mind, Ajax Cape Town will possibly have to open the second-tier of the Cape Town Stadium.

Hopefully the City will back this event as they did our previous events at Cape Town Stadium by opening the Fan Walk and activating the full transport plan as they did during the World Cup thereby allowing all the residents of Cape Town to once again experience this “ Once in a lifetime” opportunity.
